UArctic Thematic Network on Renewable Energy
The University of the Arctic (UArctic) is a cooperative network of universities, colleges, research institutes and other organizations concerned with education and research in and about the North.
UArctic builds and strengthens collective resources and collaborative infrastructure that enables member institutions to better serve their constituents and their regions. Through cooperation in education, research and outreach UArctic enhances human capacity in the North, promotes viable communities and sustainable economies, and forges global partnerships.
The UArctic Thematic Network on Renewable Energy is hosted by the School of Environment and Sustainability, University of Saskatchewan with the Alaska Center for Energy and Power, University of Alaska Fairbanks and UiT The Arctic University of Norway as co-leads; and core team scholars include members of the Energy Group of the inaugural Fulbright Arctic Initiative, as well as scholars from University of Alaska, Anchorage and the University of Winnipeg.
